Great Denver Steak
From FunDenver -- the Denver, Colorado resource that anyone can edit!
Bastien's - The bacon-wrapped filet mignon is wonderful, and at $20 it is far more reasonable than the $40+ prices for great steak elsewhere. Bastien's also features an interesting "sugar steak". The $7.95 lunch menu chicken-fried steak is also fantastic and is served with a dark gravy sauce instead of white. It is hand-pounded into a thick and tender consistency. Bastien's is truly unique and Denver-delicious!
Le Central - The steak from Le Central is a roulette-whirl of Denver fun! The menu changes daily, so dining there for steak is a pleasant surprise. Will it be beef tenderloin sautéed in butter with a foie gras & truffle demi glaze? Bearnaise sauce? Peppercorn finish? Roquefort cream sauce? Roasted garlic jus? You don't know unless you go! (Or check their website)
Rodizio Grill - Called "The Brazilian Steakhouse", dozens of Portuguese-named meat dishes are paraded by your table for your fun, all-you-can-eat carnivorous buffet. Some options include top sirloin basted in garlic ("picanha com alho"), beef wrapped in bacon ("fraldinha com bacon"), and a whole sirloin served with garlic butter or vinaigrette.
The Broker - This $40+ filet mignon is usually so tender it can be cut with a regular table knife. The restaurant itself is swanky and upscale...and so pricey that dinners are reserved for special occasions. The lunch menu prices are far more reasonable (under $15), still fancy, and taste great. It's a wonderful place for business lunches.
