Monkey Bean is the quintessential comfortable, friendly coffee house.
If you have not stopped by this place, it is definitely worth checking out.
Here are the highlights:
- Free wireless internet access
- ICE CREAM!!!
- Great hours -- they stay open until midnight during the week, and 3am on weekends.
- A really cool, laid-back atmosphere with lots of comfy chairs. It reminds me of the coffee houses I used to hang out at, back in college.
- Friendly staff, friendly customers.
- An abundance of monkey-themed items. You just can't go wrong with monkeys.

Monkey Bean closed! :(
Monkey Bean Coffee and Bistro, probably the coolest coffee house in all of Denver, closed the doors for good on July 31, 2006.
We'll miss you, Monkey Bean. Denver will be a little bit less fun without you.
