Thomas Bros. Coffee and Chai is an independent coffee house in the Stapleton area of Denver. It's a pretty nice place with friendly staff, sandwiches, and excellent coffee drinks and chai. Free wireless internet is available. The only real downside is that they close pretty early.
This place specializes in chai. They offer several different kinds, including a "authentic chai", which is the owner's family recipe.
As far as I know, Thomas Bros. is the only independent coffee joint in the Stapleton redevelopment area. It's located in the Quebec Square strip-mall area just north of the main part of Stapleton, near the Sam's Club. It's kind of a shame that the quaint "town centers" in these sorts of developments (such as the one at 29th Ave & Quebec) seem to only have chain stores.
